I’ll be back here where the ground freezes. I did encounter a few other hikers. Two of which had three dogs. Two on a leash and one not.
I get that you have confidence that your pet won’t bite me, but I don’t, and you don’t know me. But, I have discovered that there are hikers and walkers of all types. Some have empathy and consideration, some don’t.
I think this could actually be a really fun overnight Winter hike. Though I would have some apprehension without another scouting trip with the amount of gun fire in the area.
No disrespect intended but farmers and Amish harvest meat when they need it not when it’s in season and considering much of this trail runs on private land I would definitely want to wear lots of orange!
